Tennessee Association of Fairs Awards!

The Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair recently attended the 2025 Tennessee Association of Fairs (TAF) Convention where fairs from across the state gathered to collaborate, share ideas and celebrate the 2024 fair season. The annual convention highlights creativity and excellence in the fair industry recognizing the best in exhibits, competitive events, advertising and more.

The Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair proudly showcased its success through a variety of competitive entries. These entries documented key aspects of the fair including the theme and agriculture commodity, creative displays such as the new wine show display and so much more. Fifteen showcase awards were earned including six first place honors which is a true testament to the dedication and creativity that make our fair stand out.

Helen McPeak, Executive Director of the Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair, was also honored with the Thornton Taylor Award for her outstanding contributions to the Tennessee Association of Fairs. Luke Gregory of Mount Juliet Elementary was also awarded a $500 check from the Tennessee Society Sons of the American Revolution for his impressive essay on the Boston Tea Party. We also want to congratulate Luci Rose Coay for representing Wilson County so gracefully as she competed against 47 other contestants in the Tennessee Association of Fairs Fairest of the Fair Pageant.
